Theed Royal Palace is Queen Amidala's offical residence on her homeworld, Naboo. Interior sequences of the palace were filmed in Caserta Palace in Caserta, Italy. The palace is a popular tourist destination and after the Vatican, it's the most visited in Italy.
A brief exterior view of Theed Royal Palace was added to Return of the Jedi (1983) for the Star Wars Trilogy DVD release in September 2004.
