Pride Rock is the central location of the Pride Lands. The fact that the rock is elevated gives Pride Rock and imposing and powerful feel to the animals below, who must literally look up to their lion leaders.
The height of the rock also places the lions closer to the sky and heaven, giving them a powerful and almost god-like aura. |
