Timon
|
| Background |
| |
Timon is generally the brains of the comedic duo Timon and Pumbaa. Unlike most of the other names in The Lion King (1994), which are Swahili, Timon is a Greek name meaning worthy.
Timon, along with pal Pumbaa the warthog, share similar personalities with the characters Rosencrantz and Guildenstern in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. |
