Background of Abigail and Amelia Gabble
Abigail and Ameilia Gabble are the two sister geese on holiday in Paris that that save Tom O'Malley from drowning in the river in The Aristocats (1970).

Their last name, Gabble, derives from the word "gabble" which means a cackle type sound made by geese. The word also means to jabber or to talk unintelligently or rapidly, which the sisters do throughout their appearances in the film.
